Awful Customer Service
Sky company is exceptional for the people who are willing to switch from another company to Sky. But there is other side of the coin as well. Sky HD box customer services has been proven worse for the existing customers. You have to threaten the company to leave otherwise they won’t listen to you. And if you want to leave, the customer service won’t let you leave in peace.
The same case happened with me as well. I was in a year’s contract with Sky for HD services, when I actually thought it was only for trial. Since they didn’t let me cancel my contract, I told them to close my account completely with Sky on the date when my contract ended. But the company representatives told me that I cannot give my month’s notice until the contract has ended. Thus making me pay for another month as well. So in that case, I refused and cancelled my direct debit payment method with Sky on the contract end date. Since the company wasn’t able to get their money, so the Sky customer representative threatened me to pay a whole month bill, although my services were shut during that month.unprofessional and worst customer services across U.K. They dropped down the payment, after I threatened them to take legal action against them.
