Awful Customer Service

Sky company is exceptional for the people who are willing to switch from another company to Sky. But there is other side of the coin as well. Sky HD box customer services has been proven worse for the existing customers. You have to threaten the company to leave otherwise they won’t listen to you. And if you want to leave, the customer service won’t let you leave in peace.
The same case happened with me as well. I was in a year’s contract with Sky for HD services, when I actually thought it was only for trial. Since they didn’t let me cancel my contract, I told them to close my account completely with Sky on the date when my contract ended. But the company representatives told me that I cannot give my month’s notice until the contract has ended. Thus making me pay for another month as well. So in that case, I refused and cancelled my direct debit payment method with Sky on the contract end date. Since the company wasn’t able to get their money, so the Sky customer representative threatened me to pay a whole month bill, although my services were shut during that month.unprofessional and worst customer services across U.K. They dropped down the payment, after I threatened them to take legal action against them.

Satisfied With Sky Services

I am a new customer to Sky. I have opted for very basic services with Sky that does not include any movies, family sets or sports channel in it. I am happy with all the channels that I am getting and they all are enough for me. The best thing is that instead of paying normal charges that is £20/month, I am only paying £10/month. This price is very cheaper and good for me to watch and record my favorite channels on my Tv. The only bad thing I like about Sky is that it does not provide me the list of channels I cannot watch on tv. I have called on Sky 0800 number to raise this problem, but the representative said that it is set up by default and cannot be changed. So I have to make an effort to find the channel myself. It’s a bit annoying but I am satisfied with the services.
Excellent Customer Services
I had a brilliant experience with Sky. are very professional and user friendly. And the best thing I liked about them is that they can even make the not so tech savvy person like me to understand the solution very well.I am really mesmerized with the excellent communication skills of their executive. I must say that Sky is the only reliable company in Britain. Last but not the least, Sky free phone number is very easy to remember and the call rates are also decent.
Not so Great
Sky has a decent customer support, there policies aren’t always very customer friendly and have a hint of a monopolistic days they used to enjoy; However, the technical support has always been great every time, whenever I have had a problem they have been able to provide a fix and very rarely they had to arrange for someone to come over.
